"The average monthly salary in Azerbaijan in 2023 is planned to be 898 manats," said the chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee for Economic Policy, Industries and Enterprising Tahir Mirkishili at today's meeting of the committee during the discussion of the draft law "On the state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2023", APA reports.
The MP noted that it is considered the families of martyrs and their children, their parents' income from hired work, up to 800 manats, will be exempted from taxes: "By the end of 2022, the average monthly salary in Azerbaijan is planned to be AZN 800, and in 2023 it will be AZN 898. This is an exemption of the large part of the salary from the tax".
