"Civil Service Code" is at the stage of development," said Nizami Safarov, member of the Civil Service Management Council, MP of the Milli Majlis to APA.
He noted that the project will be ready in the next decades: "A wide public discussion of this draft law is planned. The general public as well as civil servants will get acquainted with this draft law closely and will put forward their proposals. Law "On Civil service" has been adopted in 2000. It took into force in 2001 and several amendments were made to this draft law. But I want to say that although the law remains its systematicity, development of such Code will be an important step taken towards the development of new codes which exist in the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan".
Nizami Safarov noted that the Code will be already put into discussion in autumn.
