New tax exemptions have come into force for the families of martyrs of the Patriotic War and veterans

From January 1, new tax benefits have been determined for family members of martyrs and veterans in the Patriotic War, it is reflected in the law "On amendments to the Tax Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan", APA reports.

According to the law, from January 1, 2022, up to 20,000 manat of financial assistance received by family members of martyrs and financial assistance received by military personnel and civilians with disabilities identified as a result of military operations for freedom, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan Up to 20,000 manat will be exempt from income tax.
