"The UN supported ANAMA with more than 11 million euros. Different experts were involved, and technical assistance was provided," said UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan Vladanka Andreeva during the presentation ceremony of ANAMA's new logo, APA reports.
She noted that since 1991, 3,580 Azerbaijanis have died or injured by mines: "Since 2000, more than 200 people died, 40 people injured. Azerbaijan is one of the first countries subjected to the mine threat. That is why Azerbaijan has a great need for the support".
