The fire continues in the forest strip in the mountainous area near the Honuba village of the Yardimli region, APA reports citing Azerbaijani MES.
A helicopter of the Aviation Detachment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has been involved in the extinguishing works starting this morning.
In order to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading large area, a total of 130 personnel from the fire protection units of the Ministry's State Fire Protection Service, Civil Defense Troops and the Southern Regional Center, as well as employees of the Forestry Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, and local residents are carrying out fire extinguishing works in complex mountainous terrain condition (manual labor is mainly used to extinguish the fire).
