Baku. Shahriyar Alizadeh – APA. The Baku Court of Grave Crime on Monday resumed the trial of Real MTK’s head Ilham Gasimov, who is charged with swindle, APA reported.
In the trial, a prosecutor sought 13 years’ imprisonment for the defendant.
The next trial is scheduled to Nov.18.
Gasimov was detained in Jun of this year. He is charged with swindle, abuse of official powers, and forgery.
He is a victim in the case of Major General Akif Chovdarov, former head of the main energy and transport security directorate under the liquidated Ministry of National Security of Azerbaijan.
