In January-August of the current year, wind power stations in Azerbaijan produced 78,2 mln. kWh of electricity and this figure is 3,2 times more than compared to the same period of the previous year, APA reports citing State Statistics Committee.
During the previous period, solar power plants produced 29,8 million kWh of electricity (8% increase).
Note that in the first half of the current year, Azerbaijan produced 16,4 bln. kWh of electricity and this is 75 % more than compared to January-June of the previous year.
