Hidayat Orujov: There is no need to teach religion in Azerbaijani secondary schools

Orujov said that there are enough religious schools and Universities in Azerbaijan that teach religion, and he regards that private subject connected with national-moral values can be taught in secondary schools.
“Such subject has already been prepared. This is book named “Life knowledgeâ€. Both national-moral values and religious values were reflected in this bookâ€, Orujov said.
Orujov also said that secondary schools in Azerbaijan are not ready to teach religion, and it is connected with the staff insufficiency.
“There are not enough specialists in the religious sector. There are several vacancies at the committee leaded by me. These places are vacant as there are not enough religious specialistsâ€, he added. /APA/
