40 pilgrims leave Baku for pilgrimage in Karbala and Najaf

Reminding that the Caucasus Muslims Office has not restored organizing pilgrimage to Karbala said Al-Iraq dealt with all documenting works, Iraqi embassy in Baku issued the visas. He said the company had previously promoted pilgrimage to Karbala. The pilgrims are allowed to stay in Iraq for nine days only.
Aslanov added that the pilgrims in buses will be met by Al-Iraq representatives in Mehran city of Iran, and they will pass Iraqi border.
Aslanov added the security of the pilgrims is guaranteed by the company.
“But we would like the Caucasus Muslims Office to restore pilgrimage to Karbala,†he said.
