Tourist police will operate in Azerbaijan, Kenan Gasimov, head of the State Tourism Agency Office told reporters, APA reports.
According to him, such practice now exists in the world. When tourists face any difficulties in the country they are traveling, they should have an institution to address, so that their problems can be heard, studied, and evaluated.
“Tourist police is one of these institutions. The name police can be somewhat surprising, but they will serve the tourists. In other words, tourists will be able to use their services when they face any difficulty or anxiety, and we are considering to create a "hotline". Calling the "hotline" tourists will be able to get information and address for the solution of the problem they are facing,” the head the Agency stated.
