Zelensky hospitalized due to COVID-19

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was hospitalized on Thursday due to coronavirus he contracted earlier this week, APA reports citing Teletrader.

His advisor Mykhailo Podoliak confirmed Zelensky "is in an isolated ward, and, accordingly, he has a special communication line there." Podoliak added that Zelensky's Office Head Andriy Yermak has also tested positive for the coronavirus and was admitted to the same hospital.

According to the last information, Ukraine recorded 11,057 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours. The new cases had taken the total confirmed infections to 500,865, with 9,145 deaths.
