As of July 1, 2018, total foreign liabilities of Azerbaijan-based commercial banks stood at AZN 1,823,900,000, down AZN 4,976,500,000 or 3.7-fold from previous year.
Central Bank of Azerbaijan said compared to previous month 2018, the external borrowing decreased AZN 39.9 million or 2.1% in June 2018.
As of July 1, 2018, banks’ total foreign assets stood at AZN 5,848,100,000, up AZN 1,877,700,000 or 47.29% in comparison to a year earlier. Compared to previous month, total foreign assets ascended by AZN 320,000,000 or 5.79% in June.
