“There is a special program of action to protect the safety of journalists during military operations. In return for all this, we do not expect the international community to simply send messages of condolences, this particular case and the policy pursued by Armenia at the state level, which is guilty of this, should be condemned,” said Azerbaijani presidential aide Hikmat Hajiyev, APA reports.
H. Hajiyev noted that the area was mined without any legitimate military necessity: “This is the road to the village. There is an answer to this. Armenia has deliberately mined these territories. Because they know that after their release, civilians will come to these areas. The goal is to achieve the massacre and death of civilians. This is the policy pursued by Armenia at the state level.”
