“Uzbekistan has decided to join the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States (Turkic Council). The President of Uzbekistan will attend VII Turkic Council Summit to be held in Baku on October 15, Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Gismat Gozalov said, APA reports.
According to him, the Turkish Council has operated in 14 different fields over the past period and has held 60 ministerial meetings: "Besides that, 28 conferences, forums, vocational training programs and youth camps have been organized."
G. Gozalov noted that a business forum of Turkic-speaking countries will be held soon with the participation of economic ministers.
“The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Turkic speaking countries was established. Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Hungary are also expected to be members of the Chamber. At the same time, work is underway in the direction of establishing a joint investment fund,” Deputy Secretary General emphasized.
