Kestutis Jankauskas, Head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan, has been appointed Head of the EU Delegation to Kazakhstan, APA reports.

The decision was signed by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.

Prior to Azerbaijan, he was the head of the EU Monitoring Mission in Georgia.

It should be noted that new ambassadors have been appointed to 19 countries and they will start their work on September 1.
