The researches regarding utilization of electronic wastes is conducted in Azerbaijan, chairman of Management Board of Clean City OJSC Etibar Abbasov told APA-Economics.
According to him, currently, the negotiations are held in order to involve potential residents functioning in this area.
"Our main purpose is to involve entrepreneurs interested in the aforementioned sphere. Currently, we are engaged in utilization of these wastes based on trilateral contract with Turkish enterprises. According to the contract, the electronic wastes are gathered and sent to Turkey for utilization. But arrangement of these works in Azerbaijan has been included in our future plans. The international experts have been involved and the researches are conducted for this purpose", E. Abbasov noted.
The chairman of the Management Board of the OJSC added that the main purpose is to get these works arranged not by the state but by the private entrepreneurs, and the Clean City in its turn is ready to provide necessary support.
