Another 252 Azerbaijani citizens remaining in the territory of the Russian Republic of Dagestan have returned to the country today, APA's northern bureau reports.

Citizens entered the country by special buses from the Samur checkpoint.

They were placed by the Ministry of Emergency Situations at a checkpoint on the border with the Russian Federation, near the Samur border checkpoint in the Gusar region and first will undergo an appropriate medical examination.

Conditions have been created at the reception and sorting point to accommodate 1,200 people at a time, sanitary and hygienic requirements have been fully met, nutrition, supply of hygienic means, etc. have been provided. All necessary measures have been taken in this regard.

Persons who pass the initial medical examination at the border checkpoint shall be re-examined by the medical brigades equipped with appropriate medical equipment operating at the reception-sorting point of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and temporarily stay in quarantine.

It is also planned to evacuate any suspected symptoms to a special local hospital for a more accurate diagnosis.

According to him, 252 people brought to Azerbaijan were tested for coronavirus: "If any citizen is diagnosed with COVID-19, they will be placed in special medical institutions."
