A media tour organized to the Sugovushan reservoir

Melaration and Water Management OJSC organized a media tour with the participation of media representatives to the Sugovushan reservoir located on the Tartar River in the Sugovushan village of the liberated Tartar region of Azerbaijan, APA reports.

The main purpose of the media tour is to acquaint the media with the current state of the Sugovushan reservoir.

Representative of Melaration and Water Management OJSC Dilgam Sharifov told APA that Sugovushan Reservoir is one of the largest water economy facilities liberated from occupation. The reservoir with a total volume of 5.86 million cubic meter is planned to irrigate a total of 96,217 hectares of land. Unfortunately, for 28 years the reservoir was occupied by hated enemies. During this period, the Azerbaijani side was not supplied with water by the Sugovushan reservoir.

During the media tour, journalists will also get acquainted with the demolition work carried out by Armenians here.

It should be noted that June 5 is the professional holiday of Melaration and Water Management employees.
