"Coronavirus cases have reduced in recent days in Azerbaijan. Although the infection has risen to very high numbers, now this number dropped to 2000. This is very gratifying", Hande Harmanci, the Representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Azerbaijan told APA.

The WHO representative noted that because requirements of the pandemic are followed very well, a decrease is observed in the number of infections: "But, this should be continued".

"All hand hygiene, social distance, mask use, and vaccination are things that we should follow in order to avoid pandemic. We have to do this in order not to go re-closure . These are anti-quarantine measures. If we follow, we may live a more normal life", said WHO representative.
