“Currently, the number of patients detected with the coronavirus in the country exceeds 300.000,” the head of the Department of Infectious Diseases of Azerbaijan Medical University, Associate Professor Jalal Isayev said at a webinar on "The impact of summer on the dynamics of the spread of COVID-19.”, APA reports.
He noted that currently, the percentage of recovery from the coronavirus in Azerbaijan is 92.3, while death case is 1.4%: “While taking into account in world scale, death indicator is less in the country. However, we should not be assured of that, we should continue preventive measures.”
J. Musayev called on everyone to be careful in a fight against coronavirus. He noted that if someone feels any single sign of the virus, he should be examined, if the disease is detected, he should be isolated from society: “ We have started vaccination for 3 months in the country, but only 3,78% of the population have been vaccinated, they passed a course of both vaccine. It is true that this is not a small number on a global scale. But this is not enough for us. The only way in order to get out of this situation is the vaccination of people. In this regard, students should also expand propaganda in their close circle”, he said.
