International postage stamp issued in the Netherlands in memory of journalists died in Kalbajar

An international postage stamp has been issued in memory of Azerbaijani journalists who died in a mine explosion in Kalbajar on the initiative of our compatriot Saltanat Ravangizi, who lives in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, State Committee on Work with the Diaspora told APA.

Pictures of journalists Maharram Ibrahimov and Siraj Abishov, who died in a mine explosion, were depicted on the postage stamp prepared within the framework of the project titled “Pearls of Azerbaijan”. The stamps were published by the official Dutch national postal operator PostNL.

The purpose is to draw the attention of the international community to the criminal act of the Armenian government and its obstruction of peace and stability in the region by not handing over mine maps.
