Member of Armenian terror-provocation group: “I knew that I perform military service in the territory of Azerbaijan”-UPDATED-2-PHOTO

Next trial on the criminal case of 13 members of the Armenian terrorist group who were accused to commit terror-provocation and other acts in the territory of Azerbaijan - Hovanesyan Haykaz Koryunovich, Manukyan Varazdat Amushavanovich, Stepanyan David Stepanovich, Tosunyan Levan Ashotovich, Baghdasaryan Artur Eduardovich, Avakyan Serop Surenovich, Harutyunyan Vorazdoraj Horajunyan Varazdat Hirojev, Kuregyan Grigor Gagikovich, Gevorkyan Ashot Artakovich, Agramanyan Martin Mushegovich has been continued, APA reports.

An indictment has been announced at the trial in Baku Court of Appeal chaired by Baku Court of Grave Crimes Judge Eldar Ismayilov.

Then the accused persons were offered to testify freely.

Haykaz Hovanisyan who was accused and testifying in the process said that he has been recalled to the military unit on June 25 and sent to Lachin, then Hadrut providing with the gun: “We were said that you go to protect our border and sent us to the post. On December 13, Arsen Kazaryan called our group leader that we should leave the post. While falling down, Azerbaijani servicemen stopped us and took our guns”.

The group leader answering the questions of the prosecutor noted that although Azerbaijani servicemen warned them about leaving the territory a day earlier they were detained, but they did not obey this. As a result, Azerbaijani servicemen detained them: “We were told that the war was over, but they did not say which territory we had. I knew that Karabakh is Azerbaijan. I knew that I have served in the military in Azerbaijan, but I was forced to it. Because the commissariat has sent me there for military service.

The process will be continued on June 2.

At the Baku Court of Appeal, chaired by Baku Court of Grave Crimes Judge Eldar Ismayilov, the composition of the court and the public prosecutor were first introduced to the accused. The court then explained the rights of the accused.

Prosecutor has announced an indictment.
