“The spread of virus occurs more rapidly in enclosed spaces”, said Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Head of the Department of Economic Issues and Innovative Development Policy Shahmar Movsumov at the briefing of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers, APA reports.
He said therefore the decision regarding the reopening of mosques is not yet adopted: “Even the Hajj pilgrimage was held in a very extraordinary manner in this year. The protection of people’s health impacts not only the sphere of medicine. This also exerts a strong influence on economy and other spheres”.
Sh. Movsumov noted that reopening of mosques is not being discussed currently.
