Azerbaijani Interior Ministry has issued a statement on fatal traffic accident occurred in Imishli region of the Republic of Azerbaijan, APA reports.

The incident occurred at night, in the part of the Imishli-Jafarli-Aligullular motorway.
The car “Opel Vectra” (10 TN 845), driven by Baku resident Shamkhalov Ilgar Aliaga oglu (born 1963), drove off the road and fell into the canal.
As a result of the incident, the driver, as well as the residents of Imishli Mammadov Etibar Aliaga oglu (born in 1969), Mammadova Marziya Amiraslan gizi (born in 1967), Mammadov Elnur Etibar oglu (born in 1991) and Kerimova Afet (1984) killed.
An investigation is being conducted.
