The flammable structures and roof of 5 apartments belonging to individual citizens in a one-storey Finnish-type apartment house with a total area of 525 m2 in Kurekchay settlement of Goranboy region burned in an area of 249 m2, Ministry of Emergency Situations told APA.
During the fire, firefighters found the burnt body of one of the owners of the apartment, Verdiyev Altay Pasha, born in 1974, and handed it over to the relevant authorities, one person received burn injuries.
The rest of the apartments are protected from fire.
The fire was extinguished by fire departments.
The incident is being investigated by relevant agencies.
