All mass events and gatherings have been prohibited in accordance with the requirements of the strict quarantine regime imposed in the country in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection. Taking into account this, this year, on January 20 - the National Day of Mourning, the visit of citizens to the Alley of Martyrs will be organized differently from previous years, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan told APA.

It was noted that visitors to the alley should wear a face mask and not gather in groups of more than five people in order to maintain social distance. That is why citizens will enter the alley in groups of five and leave the area completing their visits without stopping.

It was noted that gathering of people inside and outside the Alley is not allowed. Traffic will be restricted on the streets and avenues in the direction of the Alley of Martyrs to ensure the safe movement of visitors.

These requirements are only for the protection of the health and safety of citizens, and we are confident that visitors will understand.
