Baku. Shahriyar Alizade – APA. The preliminary investigation into the case of 12 persons, who were detained over last year’s Nov.26 armed incident in Baku’s Nardaran settlement, has come to a close.
Attorneys reviewed case materials. They will be submitted to the court in coming days.
Taleh Baghirov, leader of the Muslim Unity Movement, was arrested last year in an operation conducted by the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime in Nardaran. Elman Seydamir, Zulfugar Sadraddin, and many others were arrested with thim.
Two police officers and four residents lost their lives in the crackdown.
The investigation into the case of all those detained is divided into three parts. The Baku Court of Grave Crimes is continuing the trial of Taleh Baghirov and 18 others. The preliminary investigation into the case of 12 others is underway.
