Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. Reports that my brothers’ graves have been destroyed are nothing but rumors, Sardar Bunyatov, who lost two of his brothers in the police crackdown in Baku's Nardaran settlement in November last year, told APA.
He said the testimony given by Jabbar Jabbarov, the defendant in the criminal case on the Nardaran events, is baseless.
“Two of the bodies resting here are of my brothers and another one of my relative. It’s rumored that these graves have been destructed. That’s a lie. How could I turn a blind eye to the destruction of my brothers’ graves?” he said.
He added that there are four graves there.
“There used to be one cover stone placed on four graves. Then their relatives decided to place separate graves stones for each before their death anniversary,” he said.
