According to the plan of combat training of the Azerbaijan Army, methodical sessions were held with deputy commanders of military units for ideological work and moral-psychological support, ONA reports citing the press service of Azerbaijani Defence Ministry.
Deputy Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Kerim Veliyev, noting that over the past year ideological work and moral-psychological support, as well as public relations work were organized in accordance with the requirements of military legislation, stressed that according to the requirements of the Minister of Defense, the main attention must always be paid to these activities.
The Chief of the Department for Ideological Work and Moral-Psychological Support — Deputy Chief of the Main Department for Personnel, Major General Rasim Aliyev also made a report on the work done in the field of military-patriotic education in the 2018, moral-psychological training, military discipline and other areas, as well as tasks to be performed in the 2019.
Then the reports on the organization of ideological work in the Azerbaijan Army, the duties of commanders to strengthen rule of law, preserve classified information, ensure the security of military service, increase the level of moral-psychological training, strengthen military discipline, educate servicemen in the spirit of national-moral values and psychological operations have been heard.
In conclusion, the officers were given relevant recommendations.
