Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valeriy Zaluzhnyi announced that he on Saturday spoke with Chairman of the United States Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley, APA reports citing Teletrader.
The two nations' highest-ranking military officers exchanged their views on the situation in Ukraine and the "security risks that are borne by Russian missile strikes," said Zaluzhnyi, noting he assured his counterpart that the Ukrainian troops will continue to "struggle" until they win against Russia.
In the talks, Zaluzhnyi also reiterated Kyiv's call for more weapons, equipment and air and missile defense systems from Washington.
