In January-February 2023, industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field manufactured products worth 12.7 billion manats ($7.47 billion), down 2.8% from the previous year, APA reports citing the State Statistical Committee.
During the reporting period, production in the oil sector fell by 3.7%, and the non-oil and gas sector increased by 6.8%.
Some 73.2% of industrial products were formed in the mining sector, 21.5% in the processing sector, 4.8% in the production, distribution, and supply of electricity, gas, and steam, and 0.5% in the water supply, water treatment, and waste processing sectors.
Marketable oil production in the mining sector decreased by 6.4%, while marketable gas production rose by 0.9%.
