Global e-commerce platform "Alibaba Group' is intending to invest in projects in Turkiye, said Michael Evans, the president of the company, APA reports citing "Dunya" newspaper.
According to him, the company plans to manage its operations in Europe in this country.
He has met with Turkish Vice-President Fuat Oktay in Ankara.
The president of Turkiye's one of the biggest e-commerce platforms " Trendyol Group", Çağlayan Çetin also attended the meeting.
Chief of "Alibaba" said that his company is planning several investment projects in Turkiye.
In particular, the investment in cloud computing companies in Ankara as well as the investment in logistic projects in Istanbul are the main topics.
Furthermore, the company will make investments in the production field, management and calculation systems technologies in Turkiye.
