Azerbaijani citizens evacuated from Turkiye's 12 provinces where the earthquake happened were transported to their motherland via Georgia, APA's Georgia bureau reports.
Around 100 evacuees entered Azerbaijan at the "Red Bridge" border checkpoint.
The evacuation process was accompanied by employees of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia.
A total of 205 Azerbaijani citizens will be evacuated from Turkiye via Georgia.
Other Azerbaijani citizens are currently on Georgian territory and will reportedly enter Azerbaijan till 02:00 a.m.
