Azerbaijan plans to increase the non-oil sector twice within the national export strategy by the end of 2050, said Yusif Abdullayev, acting President of Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) in the online “B2B Forum” organized by Caspian Energy Club, APA Economics reports.
According to him, the main point is to increase non-oil exports two times by the end of 2050 within the national export strategy that will cover the 2021-2020 years.
“We expect non-oil exports to be decreased two times by the end of this year in comparison to last year which is about 1.85 billion dollars. By the end of 2025, a double increase will be 3,6 billion dollars. We think there is necessary potential for this” said Yusif Abdullayev.
