Positive balance of trade turnover of Azerbaijan with Georgia increases by nearly 25%

During January-October of this year, the volume of trade exchange of Azerbaijan with Georgia was $555 512, 93 thousand which is $ 56 125,52 thousand or 11,2% more in comparison to the same period of the previous year, according to the calculations of APA-Economics based on State Customs Committee reports.

In the first ten months of the current year, the volume of export from Azerbaijan to Georgia increased by 16,7% or $ 70 893,56 thousand in comparison to the related period of the previous year and constituted $ 495 567,65 thousand. While import decreased by 19,8% or $ 14 768,04 thousand and constituted $ 59 945,28 thousand.

As a result, a positive balance of $ 435 622,37 thousand formed, which is $ 85 661,6 thousand or 24,5% more in annual comparison.
