"Under the leadership of Heydar Aliyev, Azerbaijan has become a developing state with a strong economy," said Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova Mihail Popșoi at the special meeting of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis (Parliament) dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, APA reports.
Mihail Popșoi said that Heydar Aliyev always promoted peace and cooperation: "Heydar Aliyev played an important role in the development of relations with Moldova. We are interested in the development of friendly relations with the people and state of Azerbaijan. I would also like to highlight the role of the Azerbaijani diaspora and ambassador in Moldova in the development of our relations."
Mihail Popșoi noted that the memory of Heydar Aliyev will live forever.
