London hosts concert on the National Flag Day of Azerbaijan

Victory Day and National Flag Day of Azerbaijan were celebrated with a jazz concert by famous Azerbaijani jazz pianist Isfar Sarabski in London, APA's British bureau reports.

The Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Great Britain, Elin Suleymanov, representatives of the diplomatic corps of Azerbaijan, ambassadors of foreign countries, and representatives of the Azerbaijani and Turkish communities, attended the event.

Ambassador Elin Suleymanov spoke about the victory of Azerbaijan after the 30-year occupation of Armenia and said that this is a new beginning for both Azerbaijan and Armenia, and it is necessary to look to the future as President Ilham Aliyev said.

Later, pianist Isfar Sarabski played the works of famous composers such as George Gershwin, Thelonius Monk, Vagif Mustafazade, and his own works. Violinist Sabina Rakcheyeva performed the Azerbaijani folk song "Sari Gelin" together with Isfar Sarabski.
