The inquiry to find Georgian citizens Teymuraz Aliyev and Tahir Khubanov accused of Monitor’s Editor Elmar Huseynov’s assassination remains fruitless, chief of Interpol National Central Bureau in Azerbaijan Mammed Mikayilov told APA.
He said that international notice has been issued for the accused since May, 2005. Interpol General Secretariat has distributed red orientations about the accused to the member states. Stating that the investigations are ongoing, he rejected the information of Georgian reporters concerning Teymuraz Aliyev’s being in Georgia. The information proved to be false after the interrogation. /APA/
