AZN 3 mln. allocated to National Television and Radio Council, and AZN 300.000 to Fund of State Support for Development of Mass Media

President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on the allocation of additional financial assistance to the press, APA reports.

According to the order, in order to provide additional financial assistance to the newspapers published in the Republic of Azerbaijan, and to organize events on the occasion of the 145th anniversary of Azerbaijani national press, AZN 300.000 from the reserve fund of the President of Azerbaijan, envisaged in the state budget for 2020, has been allocated to Fund of State Support for Development of Mass Media under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

AZN 3.0 (three) mln. were allocated to Radio Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan from a reserve fund of the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan envisaged in the state the budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2020 in order to provide additional support to private national TV and radio broadcasters operating in Azerbaijan to broadcast via Azerspace-1 satellite and other mediums.
