In order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) in Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) realizes various measures within the framework of the “Stay home!” Campaign, APA reports citing the website of the MES.
The next such event was held by the Southern Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergencies in the Lankaran region.
On April 11, employees of the regional center visited a number of families living in the city of Lankaran and various villages of the region, and rendered assistance to them.
As part of the campaign, food packages were sent to people over 65, including alone and elderly people, as well as low-income families.
During the meeting, ministry employees held educational conversations with families and spoke about the importance of observing the rules of the special quarantine regime.
