In support to the call and initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, today, the voluntary blood donation campaign has been held in the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
The blood donation campaign was organized at the Medical Center of the Medical Service of the MES with participation of the medical personnel of the Blood Bank in order to support people suffering from hereditary blood diseases, and especially thalassemia.
The Ministry’s personnel voluntarily donated their blood in the campaign.
