Use of medical masks at the airport and during flight is mandatory, APA reports.

It has been noted in the "Temporary rules on the organization on flights and passenger transportation via air transport in the Republic of Azerbaijan during coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemics", approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.

According to the rules, resume of regular international flights is carried out on the basis of mutual agreement, achieved with the opposite side by taking into consideration rules, determined by airports and aircraft, and general sanitary-epidemiological condition.

Taking off the medical masks in unacceptable without any special requirement (for instance, with the requirement of an authoritative person during registration and getting on, execution of security control before flight, and border control procedure) and necessity (for instance, during eating)

At the same time, for the operative organization of medical examination at the airport, air companies, carrying out flights in the Republic of Azerbaijan, should send passport information and negative results of COVID-19 to the GYDADXH through SITATEX to the operator, delivering overground check beforehand in order to deliver the information (list) on aircraft passengers to the body, carrying out such control.
