Plane carrying Martyr Orkhan Asgarov's body and the embassy's evacuated employees landed in Baku-UPDATED

The plane carrying the body of martyr Orkhan Asgarov and the evacuated employees of the embassy landed in Baku, APA reports.

The plane landed at Heydar Aliyev International Airport at 22:00 Baku time.

The body of Orkhan Asgarov, who was martyred in the terrorist attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran, departed from Tehran to Baku, APA's Tehran bureau reports.

Evacuated employees of the embassy, their family members, as well as two employees of the embassy who were injured in the attack, departed for Baku by plane.

Note that an armed attack took place at the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Iran on January 27, 2023, at about 8:30 by Baku time. As a result of this vile attack, Orkhan Asgarov, the head of the security service of the diplomatic mission, was killed while performing his official duties, and two employees of the Embassy were injured.
