“Azerbaijani government has repeatedly expressed its interest on partnership and cooperation with EU,” Deputy Prime Minister, Chair of the National Coordination Council for Sustainable Development Ali Ahmadov said at the conference dedicated to the results of the technical assistance project “EU Support to the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan to reach European standards”, APA reports.
According to him, the work is underway on the cooperation agreement between Azerbaijan and EU: “I suppose that, in the near future, after the works on this field are completed, the agreement between EU and Azerbaijan will be signed and cooperation spheres will be successfully implemented in wide range of areas:
