Six people were killed in an accident in the Stefan-Vodsky region of Moldova due to a head-on collision of a truck and a Chrysler car, Moldovan police said, APA reports citing Oopstop.
“Six people died as a result of a serious accident on the R-30 highway near the village of Popaska, Stefan Voda district. The accident occurred at about 7 am (8.00 Moscow time),”.
According to preliminary data, a 39-year-old man, who was driving a MAN truck, went into the oncoming lane to overtake the tractor, but was not convinced of the safety of the maneuver and collided with a Chrysler car. As a result, the driver of the car and five of his passengers died before the ambulance arrived. The police clarified that there were no minors among the victims.
