The spring session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) starts in Strasbourg today, APA's European bureau reports.
The session will be attended by German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Foreign Minister Heiko Maas, who will chair the German Committee of Ministers.
Topics on the agenda include the Assembly's view of the Council of Europe's strategic priorities and joint discussions on the need for electoral reform in Belarus. An urgent debate on "Arrest of Alexei Navalny in January 2021" was also requested during the session.
The session will end on April 22.
