Ukraine has reported 7,647 coronavirus cases as of April 24, the Public Health Center has said on Facebook, APA reports citing Ukrinform.
"A total of 77,752 test samples for the new coronavirus infection using the PCR method have been conducted in Ukraine. Some 477 new confirmed cases were recorded on April 23," the report reads.
A total of 5,158 patients, including 394 children and 1,214 healthcare workers, are undergoing outpatient treatment. A total of 2,489 people, including 109 children and 244 medics, have been hospitalized. Some 103 people, including a child, are on ventilators.
A total of 193 people, including 99 men and 94 women, died as a result of complications caused by the disease. Among the victims are mainly persons aged over 50 years (85%).
A total of 601 people, including 109 health professionals, have already recovered.
