Apple Inc. announced on Tuesday it is launching two new radio stations on Apple Music and renaming its global flagship radio station Beats 1 to Apple Music 1, APA reports citing Teletrader.

The Cupertino-based tech giant noted the new stations will be called Apple Music Hits and Apple Music Country with the former playing songs from the 80s, 90s and 200s, while the latter will focus on country music. The radio stations will be available to Apple Music users in 165 countries starting today.

"Apple Music radio provides an unparalleled global platform for artists across all genres to talk about, create, and share music with their fans, and this is just the beginning. We will continue to invest in live radio and create opportunities for listeners around the world to connect with the music they love," Oliver Schusser, vice president of Apple Music, Beats, and International Content, stated.
