Tehran officially halted some of the nuclear deal's commitments following an order from the country's national security council, ISNA reported on Wednesday, citing an anonymous official in the Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran, ONA reports citing Sputniknews.
President Hassan Rouhani announced the suspension of certain obligations under the deal concerning reserves of enriched uranium and heavy water precisely one year after his American counterpart announced that Washington was leaving the JCPOA and reinstating sanctions against the Islamic Republic, citing the Iranian nuclear program as a pretext for the decision.
