Tehran – APA. Head of the Tehran office of Azerbaijan’s APA News Agency Suleyman Farzaliyev made a speech at the 22nd International Exhibition of Press and News Agencies in Tehran.
Farzaliev was invited by Iran’s Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance to speak at the exhibition.
Speaking about the history of Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, he stressed the importance of proper coverage by the Iranian media of Armenia’s occupation policy against Azerbaijan, a Muslim-majority country.
The correspondent also informed the participants about APA Holding, pointing out that APA is one of the leading news agencies both in Azerbaijan and the region.
Farzaliyev also touched upon Azerbaijan-Iran ties, speaking about the role of media in the development bilateral relations.
The director general of the Foreign Media Department of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Mohammad Jafar Safi, thanked the Farzaliyev for his speech.
The APA correspondent then viewed the pavilions of some Iranian new agencies and hold talks with them.
